Ask anyone - organising a wedding can be fun but also very stressful and overwhelming at times. We're here to make things easy for you, keeping things straight forward with a simple ordering process. Whilst we believe that one-on-one interaction is integral to our business, it doesn't always have to be in person; consultations over the phone or purely by email will work for us just as well. We are here to advise you on all aspects of your stationery from the typeface that suits your design to the wording for your invitation.
We understand that choosing stationery for a wedding or special event is a very personal decision. Offering uncompromising quality and attention to detail, we therefore work closely with you to create an end result you are proud to send your guests.
THE INTRODUCTION The best way to appreciate all the options available to you in working with Ruby and Willow, is to explore the Custom Gallery and the Collection Gallery designs and request samples so you can experience the quality of our work. We'll follow up to ensure you receive the samples and to go over the next steps.
THE CONSULTATION Once you have been through the designs online or received samples from us, you may find that an existing design from the Collection works perfectly for you. In that case you can proceed directly to ordering.
If you have been inspired by what you've seen, but would like to have us design something especially for you, then you've come to the right place. Set up a time for a consultation; by email, phone or skype - whichever is most convenient for you. Use the existing samples in our Custom Gallery as inspiration, or give us creative license to conceive and style something that will integrate your personal style into the day.
QUOTE & DEPOSIT Once we have established the style and quantity required we will send you through a quote. Should you wish to proceed we will require a 50% deposit before we order any product or commence design.
PROOFS Using the consultation as our starting point we will design your invitation proof. This will include up to 4 design options using different fonts and layouts. A further 3 sets of proofs are complimentary; subsequent revisions will incur a cost of $25 + gst each. After you have reviewed the proof and made any necessary revisions, final adjustments will be made and once we have received your sign-off, your invitations will go into production. It is your responsibility to proofread all pieces of your invitation suite very carefully.
DELIVERY It will take approximately 2-4 weeks to create your invitations, depending on the complexity of the design and the time of year. All deliveries will get delivered via courier to ensure safe delivery.
With so many decisions to make on all other wedding aspects, we have designed to the Signature Collection to keep things simple for you. Read further for our 6 step process from start to finish.
STYLE The first step (and probably the hardest!) in designing your invitation is to browse through our three Signature Collection Albums and decide on the style you like. If you are finding this difficult or would like to see the invitations in person please order a Sample Pack or contact us to book a consultation.
ELEMENTS Once you have settled on a style, you will need to decide which pieces you will require. You may want to send out save-the-date invitations before ordering your invitations. Do you want personalised name cards, or menus? Jazz up your invite with a lined envelope or a belly band. All pieces ordered will match the look of your invite.
COLOUR & FONTS The next step is to choose from our colour and font options. You can choose to combine different fonts throughout your invitation package. For example, choose one for your names and a different one for the rest of your text. We are happy to give you assistance with both of these steps if you require it.
PROOFS Once we have received your order and a 50% deposit, you will need to send us your wording and we will email through a digital proof within 5-7 working days. A further two sets of proofs are complimentary; subsequent revisions will incur a cost of $25 + gst each. It is your responsibility to proofread all pieces of your invitation suite very carefully. Please send us your final wording version to work on.
PRODUCTION When we have sign-off on all the pieces, we will then send them to print. Your invitations will be ready 2-4 weeks after sign-off, depending on the time of year. Final payment is due before we print.
